Visiting Metta-Ji in Maastricht
If you live further away, you may be wondering whether to make the trip. Here's what you can expect, along with ideas for planning your visit.
People travel to Metta-Ji from across the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Some come from nearby Limburg; others make the journey from Groningen, Zeeland, Antwerp, Ghent, Brussels, Cologne or Düsseldorf.
A reason to make the journey
For fourteen years, Metta-Ji has offered a personal approach to tantra and touch. People come for the quiet, the depth of the work and the individual attention.
Choose a tantric massage, a workshop or private tantra sessions. Massages welcome individuals of all genders and couples. Group workshops explore presence, boundaries and connection; private sessions give you time to learn at your own pace.
You might combine your appointment with a walk along the Meuse, a meal in Maastricht or a quiet day for yourself.
Give yourself time afterwards
If possible, avoid planning a rushed journey home. A massage or workshop may leave you wanting time to rest and let the experience settle.
There is an independently run B&B on the same grounds, which you can book directly with the owner. Maastricht also offers hotels and B&Bs at a range of prices. I'm happy to suggest options.
Combining sessions
Some visitors book more than one session and stay for a weekend. You could take a private tantra session on Friday and receive a massage on Saturday. Couples sometimes choose an individual massage each, followed the next day by a workshop in which they learn to massage one another.
